You will be required to fill out a connection form and pay for your service. We will then activate your Pre-Paid account and service.

It is important that you read the detailed mobile phone owner’s guide that comes with your phone, before using your B-mobile service.

Inserting your B-Mobile SIM card

Please read your mobile phone owner's guide for full information before inserting th4e card. Your B-mobile SIM card plugs into ay GSM mobile phone, which takes the same sized card. The card holds your service information, including your phone number. Care should be taken when handling the card to ensure the protection of the in-built microchip.

Once inserted you leave the SIM card in your phone at all times- your service will not operate without the SIM card. However, you can transfer the SIM card to any other GSM compatible mobile phone and continue to use your B-Mobile account and phone number.

NOTE: You cannot connect to the B-Mobile network if your GSM phone is SIM locked to another network or is blacklisted because of theft, loss, on-payment or other reasons.

Charge your Battery     Top

Ensure your mobile phone battery is fully charged. Your phone instruction manual will give details on how to charge your battery.

Making and Receiving calls     Top

Turn your mobile phone on and you can now make and receive calls- check your mobile phone owner’s guide for additional instructions.

Calls made from your mobile phone, are made in the same way as calls from fixed line handsets:

Fixed line calls
Dial the number + send    

Mobile Numbers
Dial the number + send

International Calls     Top

Dial 05, the country code, the area code or mobile code and the phone number + send

Low Balance Warning     Top

You receive al Low Balance voice warning when your balance needs topping- up. This warning will continue until you top-up your balance.

If your account balance runs out, the call in progress will be terminated and you will not be able to make any more calls until you recharge your account. However, you will be able to receive calls.

To prevent running out of credit always recharge your account when you hear the low balance warning.

To avoid running out, it's helpful to keep a spare Pre-paid card.

Checking your Account balance     Top

Dial 1250 from your connected B-Mobile phone and follow the voice prompts to check your account balance.

For security reasons you must use your own B-Mobile phone to access this service.

Topping-up your Account     Top

Purchase B-Mobile Pre-paid cards from any authorized outlet. Lightly scratch off the silver scratch panel to reveal your 10-digit authorization number.

Dial 1250 and follow the voice prompts.

Enter your 10 digit authorization number followed by the # (hash) key.

You will be asked to confirm the amount to be transferred by entering the #(hash) key.

Wait to hear that the transfer has been successful. The B-Mobile Pre-Paid card now has no value.

For security reasons you must use your own B-Mobile phone to access this service.

Topping your account carries forward your old account balance and extends the account balance validity period.

If your account balance remains at zero for a period of time your account will be closed and your phone number will be reallocated.
